My Early Voting day

It feels really good to live in a country where the people are free to choose whom they vote for. Today was my "early voting" day. I feel that the Spirit of God led me to vote for certain people and certain amendments.. He also led me not to vote for people I was not sure of. One thing I do know is that I voted the Bible. And I am not ashamed of who I voted for. Now I stand like many and keep the prayers going up and out. Living a Psalm 91 life........... I rarely feel any lack of peace. Though the world seems to rage around me, neighbors are disrespectful and the economy looks grim.... I stand on the Word Of God and I am hid in a Secret Place. That is a wonderful place to experience. Being Under the Shadow of the All Mighty! Can you even imagine how very large that shadow is? And yet how small it needs to be in order to keep me safe and comforted. I will say of the Lord, I will trust in you.

So for today I have but to trust that the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings will bring the right person into authority over this country. Lord knows we need some strong leadership. I will not speak negative... and when the old liar whispers in my ear...... I sing a song that since I heard it has become my song in such times. "The Voice of Truth" (Casting Crowns) tells me a different story! And when the enemy seems to close in ..... well I have "The Battle is the Lords" to sing. What a wonderful weapon to have.... Worship. It may not be mentioned as a piece of the Armor of God.... But then maybe it is a strengthening agent to the Shield of Faith.

So tonight I will worship the Lord who is worthy of all my praises. God Bless you if you are reading this post ..... and may you be given the Wisdom of God in this time of decision. Vote Well and enjoy .
